Russell Tobin is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an exciting travel opportunity within a correctional health setting in the Okanagan region of British Columbia.
We are looking for nurses with robust acute care and mental health experience who are confident working in a fast-paced, community-based healthcare environment.
Role Overview
- Provide primary, urgent, emergency, and mental health care within a correctional setting
- Perform nursing assessments and deliver patient-centered care
- Administer medications and treatments per clinical guidelines
- Monitor and document patient progress using EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain safe and ethical practice standards
- Start Date: The preferred start date is the week of July 20th, 2026, with a commitment through September 30th, 2026.
Contract Length: ~10–11 weeks (extensions possible)
Requirements
Active LPN license in British Columbia (BCCNM)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Two professional references
Up-to-date immunization records
Intermediate First Aid (OFA2) preferred
