Hedonisia Hawaii EcoFeminist Community was started in 2004 in the Hawaiian rainforest. Our community was based on ecofeminism and ecotourism as our social and economic foundations.

Though our community was small, the projects we work on have a global reach. We are idealist and pragmatic seeking entrepreneurial and creative solutions to various challenges we face in the world.

In 2018, Hedonisia Hawaii was destroyed by lava flow from the Kilauea volcanic eruption. Undeterred, we continue work on the many creative projects that were born at our pre-volcano community.

There is a one-acre green zone on the property, that did not get covered by lava. This is known as a Kipuka in the Hawaiian language. We are preparing to return to our land by slowly planting and landscaping on our Kipuka.

In the meanwhile, Hedonisia has evolved into a virtual creative community. Over five hundred volunteers from around the world have worked on the various projects in the Hedonisia Lava to Lotus Portfolio.

Mini-Documentary Video Producer & Editor We are creating educational videos for the Hedonisia Lava to Lotus Portfolio of book and web projects. They have a principal theme of "pleasure and purpose", how to make the world a better place while enjoying life.

We seek applicants who are proficient with video editing or using AI video creators. This is a perfect volunteer project for someone who likes to make mini-documentaries.

As a volunteer, you can use your creativity, AI video, image and animation tools to help make an informational video about the project you are interested in. We have some photos, video excerpts,



interview material and screen shots of web pages.

Trigger Warning We are looking for volunteers who support free and open discussion about issues that often feel divisive. Your task is to create a 3-10 minute information video. Please choose from the list below and let us know in your application which project resonates with you!

We love discussions with our volunteers so feel free to call or video chat via WhatsApp. Volunteer video producers can be listed a a Producer on the final video as well as receive a Certificate of Appreciation for their contribution.
