We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Coordinator to join our Parts Department. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting technicians and customers, and ensuring efficient daily operations within the dealership. Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Management
- Receive incoming orders and accurately stock parts into inventory.
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas and ensure parts are stocked in proper locations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with periodic stock checks.
- Report any stock discrepancies, losses, or damage to the Parts Manager.
Parts Handling & Distribution
- Prepare parts for outgoing shipments or delivery by the department driver.
- Gather and deliver required parts to technicians in a timely manner.
- Ensure all old units returned to the Parts Department are clean and properly handled.
- Return old units and chargeable cases to suppliers following established procedures.
Customer Service
- Assist both internal (technicians, service department) and external customers with their parts needs.
- Maintain robust, professional relationships with suppliers.
- Uphold a professional appearance and positive attitude when working with customers and team members.
Cash & Payment Procedures
- Follow all department procedures for handling cash and other forms of payment.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in every transaction.
Department Support & Maintenance
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and participate in general housekeeping of the Parts Department.
- Update product displays as needed.
- Collaborate with other dealership departments to support teamwork and operational efficiency.
- Attend training sessions to stay current with new products, tools, and best practices.
- Perform additional duties as required by management.
Physical Requirements
- Regular lifting required; occasional heavy lifting may be involved.
- Ability to stand, move, and perform hands-on tasks throughout the workday.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in inventory, warehousing, or parts management is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory and order management systems.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work.
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
