We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver to join our agile logistics team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and freight to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will be instrumental in maintaining smooth operations.

Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company standards
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps to meet delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve issues promptly
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle performance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and records of freight movement and vehicle maintenance
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for the vehicle type
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment required for loading/unloading freight
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot vehicle issues confidently
- Excellent navigation skills with familiarity in route planning tools or GPS systems
- Physical stamina to lift heavy packages, operate equipment, and perform long hours on the road
- Clear communication skills for interacting with team members and customers effectively
