Responsibilities

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and personalized care plans to promote long-term dental health.
- Assist with patient examinations by recording medical histories and documenting findings accurately.
- Support the dental team during procedures such as orthodontics, pediatrics, or restorative treatments.
- Manage patient appointments efficiently using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
- Maintain a clean, organized operatories and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols.




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and ensuring a welcoming environment for all ages.

Skills

- Proficiency in Dentrix or comparable dental software for scheduling and record keeping.
- Knowledge of orthodontics techniques and pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable.
- Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations are a plus.
- Strong background in dental assisting combined with hands-on experience in a busy dental office setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care and patient records.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
