The platform is powered by proprietary technology, including Bridge IT Systems which provides digital enrolment, benefit administration, reporting, payroll integration, and self-service capabilities. By bringing these services together under a single operating model, ICBA helps organizations reduce administrative burden, strengthen their workforce, improve employee experience, and support long-term business growth. The Director, Account Executives, Alberta is a full‑time, on‑site role based in our Calgary Office, with a focus on leading and supporting group insurance account executive teams serving Alberta.
This role oversees day‑to‑day account management activities, ensuring that member and client needs are met through effective delivery of benefits, services, and programs.
The Director provides strategic sales leadership, setting targets, tracking performance, and guiding account executives in business development and client retention.
Key Responsibilities working with the Account Executives to: Manage new business through internal membership referrals, networking, and strategic partnerships. Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and client service teams to ensure seamless plan administration. Support implementation and onboarding of new clients.
Identify opportunities for cross‑selling and upselling additional insurance, retirement, and wellness solutions. Maintain expertise in industry trends, legislation, carrier products, and regulatory requirements. Mentor account executives, account managers, and client service staff.
