Lead strategic initiatives in identity and access management at the University of Toronto. This critical role requires deep IAM expertise and a vision for enterprise identity across three campuses. The Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) serves as a key leader within the Chief Information Security and Digital Trust Office.
You will oversee a multi-disciplinary team, guiding Identity Governance, Authentication, and Operations. Your strategic input will ensure that IAM capabilities align with the university's digital trust principles and security posture across the tri-campus. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership on enterprise identity services and IAM strategy
- Manage a multi-disciplinary team focused on IAM capabilities
- Oversee the delivery of IAM platforms like SailPoint and CyberArk
- Advance identity trust principles and frameworks
- Serve as a senior expert for stakeholders across three campuses Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent
- 15+ years in enterprise IT, 7+ in IAM roles
- Proven experience with enterprise IAM platforms
- Solid understanding of Zero Trust architecture principles
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management and team leadership Drive strategic identity management and enhance the security framework at the University of Toronto.
