Term of App't: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week Immediately An excellent benefit package is offered, including extended health and dental perks. Annual vacation is pro-rated and front-loaded, based on 210 hours/FTE, as well as time off paid for the period between Christmas and New Year's Day. Enrolment in the College Pension Plan is mandatory for those in this role, with the standard contributions matched by the employer.

Description: The Director of International Education is responsible for leading the International Education department and overseeing the recruitment of international students. The Director will ensure that there is a supportive learning environment for the students, providing a high quality of delivered services ranging from student orientation to social programming. The Director will provide strategic leadership within the development of the College's strategic plan and provide business management for the international initiatives, developing and implementing strategies for increasing and diversifying international enrolment and achieving significant revenue targets.

They will oversee all legal and reporting requirements related to the enrolment and attendance of international students; representing the International Education program at campus meetings, community events, conferences; and serves as a liaison between departments, external organizations, overseas agents, the general public, and other agencies. They will collaborate with all departments of the college to internationalize the campuses.



Travel will be required in order to represent the College internationally and developing partnerships with international agents, educational institutions, governmental agencies and others.

Bachelors' degree in a relevant field of study (Education, Management, International Studies, etc.). Preference will be given to those who hold a Master's degree in one of these areas. Five (5) years of administrative experience in the post-secondary environment.

Demonstrated experience in international education areas such as international student markets, recruitment, agent/educational consultants, exchange agreements, English as a Second Language, etc. Familiarity with Canadian Immigration and national/provincial policies related to international students in higher education would be an asset.
