Lead innovation at EcoSynthetix as Vice President, Research, Development & Technology. Drive sustainable biomaterial growth with a focus on customer needs and commercial strategies. Reporting to the CEO, this role involves crafting EcoSynthetix's technology and innovation strategy.
You will steer product and applications development while enhancing our intellectual property portfolio. Ideal candidates demonstrate a strong track record in customer-driven innovation and commercialization of biomaterials and specialty chemicals. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the innovation and technology strategy
- Lead commercialization of EcoSphere®, SurfLock™, and Bioform™ platforms
- Establish strong strategic relationships with customers and partners
- Drive product development from concept to manufacturing scale-up
- Oversee intellectual property strategy and portfolio expansion
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years in industrial R&D; and product development
- Proven success in commercializing current technologies
- Experience in biomaterials or similar industries
- Strong leadership and communication skills
