Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Journeyperson to join our Residential team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that the jobsite operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on incredible projects in the Predator Ridge area, utilizing your comprehensive electrical knowledge and hands-on skills to make a tangible impact.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, and control panels.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete wiring, conduit bending, and equipment installation tasks.
- Work on industrial electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring proper operation and troubleshooting faults.
- Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while minimizing downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.




- Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all phases of work.

Qualifications

- Valid Electrical Journeyperson license or certification recognized in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments, demonstrating a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in electrical work.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and control wiring is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform renovation work efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude; handyman experience is a plus for versatile project support.
