Volunteer Opportunity Details Volunteer

Prospect ID: 589 Description of Duties: A & O Senior Immigrant Settlement Services requires culturally sensitive volunteers, who enjoy working with older adults to facilitate conversation classes for English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.

The Volunteer

Assists participants in the program to achieve greater fluency and confidence in the English language through conversation in an informal group setting

Facilitates English conversation circles using the program curriculum.





Skills Required Strong leadership skills and experience in group work with excellent communication skills is a requirement.

EAL teacher Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+ Time Commitment: Daytime 2 hours per week for 15 weeks (90-minute session & prep time).
