Job Overview

We are seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to join our team and drive successful project execution from initial estimate to completion. This role combines the strategic skills of civil construction estimating with the leadership of project management, ensuring projects are accurately priced, efficiently managed, and delivered on time. Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed and accurate construction estimates using software such as Sharpesoft, incorporating all project costs including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
- Lead project planning sessions, coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to establish clear scopes of work and timelines.
- Manage all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking to ensure timely delivery within scope.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout each project phase—cost reports, change orders, progress updates—and ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.




- Collaborate closely with teams to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality expectations, and client specifications.

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction estimating combined with project management expertise in a related field.
- Proficiency with Insite Elevation, Sharpesoft, Microsoft Project considered an asset
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and contract terms.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, materials pricing, labor costs, and scheduling techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Civil construction experience is required, willing to train the right candidate.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
