Ready to suit up as a Executive Protection Agent GardaWorld is seeking experienced and qualified Executive Protection (EP) Agents to join our growing Executive Protection program in Calgary, Alberta on an ad hoc / on-call basis. This role is intended for seasoned protective professionals with a strong background in executive protection, close protection, law enforcement, military, or high-level private security operations. Assignments may include local protection details, residential security, secure transportation, airport movements, event security, and short-notice deployments.

Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Responsibilities for Executive Protection Agent: Provide close protection and protective surveillance for clients in dynamic environments. Conduct threat and risk assessments before and during assignments. Perform advance work, route planning, venue assessments, and contingency planning.
Deliver secure transportation and protective driving support when required. Maintain continuous situational awareness and professional client interaction. Prepare operational notes and incident reports as required.
Deploy on short notice, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualificaions for Executive Protection Agent:
Minimum 3 years of verifiable Executive Protection / Close Protection experience.
Experience conducting protective movements, advance planning, and protective surveillance.
Experience working independently and as part of a multi-agent protective detail.
Valid Alberta Security Services and Investigators Act (SSIA) Security Services Worker License.
Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
Recognized Executive Protection / Close Protection certification from a reputable training provider.
Protective operations and advance planning training.
Threat assessment and protective intelligence awareness.
Emergency response and evacuation procedures.
Documented protective / defensive driving training.
Demonstrated experience operating executive sedans, luxury SUVs, and client vehicles.
Ability to perform route selection, alternate routing, and movement planning.
Comfortable driving in urban, highway, and adverse weather conditions. Only candidates who meet the minimum 3 years of Executive Protection experience, licensing, and training requirements will be considered. Successful applicants will be required to pass a background check and may be asked to participate in a practical assessment, including protective driving and operational scenario evaluation.
