Overview

West Street Willy’s Eatery is looking for an experienced cook to join our busy, family-owned restaurant. The right candidate would be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is required, safe food handling, creating specials and features, and culinary techniques.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation
- Creativity and freedom for different features and dishes
- Cook meals efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
- Serve customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment,



and dining areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with various kitchen tasks as needed

Experience

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with meal preparation, cooking methods, and food presentation enhances performance in this role
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this position

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
