Fairmont Gold Captain At Fairmont Chateau Whistler, unparalleled service and luxury await guests of Fairmont Gold, our exclusive “hotel within a hotel” experience. As Fairmont Gold Captain you will bring our exceptional Fairmont Gold standards to life.
This is a full-time, permanent position STARTING IN SEPTEMBER 2026. Starting rate of pay: $26.25 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $31.25.
Job Duties Include:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Lead service in the Fairmont Gold Lounge and ensure menu and food presentation is in keeping with Fairmont Gold standards
- Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyalty
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Provide exceptional information to our Guests about local and area attractions
Qualifications
- Previous customer related supervisory experience preferred
- Food Safe Certification is required
- Serving It Right Qualification Required
