Make a difference in families' lives with Nogdawindamin Family and Community Services as a Family Well-Being Group Worker in Serpent River First Nation.

Your role focuses on educational programs, support, and advocacy for parents and families. This full-time contract position involves delivering essential services tailored to common family well-being challenges. You will educate parents on childcare, child development, and nurturing behaviors while enhancing family strengths and unity. Programming is delivered in homes, communities, or online, providing adaptable support that's crucial for community resilience. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide educational groups and programs for families
- Support parents in developing skills for childrearing
- Promote unity and confidence within families
- Advocate for family needs and safety
- Offer services in various formats: in-person and online Requirements:
- Degree in Human Services preferred
- Diploma in Human Services required
- Life Skills Coaching Certification an asset
- Minimum two years experience with families or groups
- Must have a Class ‘G’ Ontario Driver's Licence Empower families with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive in the community.
