The Athabasca County Family & Community Support Services Program is currently accepting applications for a full-time Family Wellness Worker. This is a term position to June 30, 2028, with a possible extension dependent on funding. This Worker will provide services in Athabasca and surrounding area as part of the Northern Lakes Family Resource Network.
The Family Wellness Program is a voluntary, community-based program that supports individuals and families facing multiple risk factors that could escalate without support.
The Family Wellness
Worker assists families and youth develop skills to maintain positive relationships and a secure, healthy home environment while helping navigate community resources. A degree or diploma in the human services field, as well as a criminal record check (vulnerable population) and child intervention record check from Children & Family Services are required.
