Our client is a privately held manufacturing company producing high value, custom equipment for the oil & gas industry. This is a full time position based in south east Calgary, reporting to the Vice President Finance and will be a key member of the divisional leadership group.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial performance across multiple manufacturing sites in Canada.
- Prepare financial statements and reports across the division, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial packages.
- Supervise the preparation and execution of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
- Implement and maintain standard costing system across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Lead auditing processes to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Respond to inquiries related to financial matters.
Qualifications
- CPA designation is preferred but not essential
- Prior experience with WIP invoicing, revenue recognition and complex AP management is advantageous
- Solid leadership experience managing and developing finance team
