Job Overview:
Responsible fortheFood SafetysupporttoG&GOperationsand; deploymentof Food Safety programsat theG&G; manufacturing sitesin compliance withMondelēzGlobal Quality Policies;to performend to endfood safety risk assessmentsduring the manufacturingprocess;tobuild capability to theG&G; operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deployment of Food Safety programs:
- Support themanufacturingsite’s implementation and maintenance of the food safety programs, in compliance with Mondelēzrequirements.
- Monitor and trend G&Gfood; safety scorecard,assess food safety riskfactors,developimprovement strategiesandescalate food safety deviation tothe QLT and Global FS team
- Responsible forFood Safety Assessments,including but not limited tothe following:
- Ensure Risk Assessment is employed as the key decision-making approach for Product, Process and Package.
- Provide risk-based food safety verifications for suppliers,manufacturing sites, warehouses,and transportationand customer
- ConductHACCP validationsand re-analysis.
- Support effective management of operational Food Safety challenges at factories including disposition recommendationsbased on risk assessment.
- Food Safety Risk Assessments to support plant notifications andcriticalbusiness issues(Crisis Management)
- Assess, review,and approveR&D;, Engineeringand Supply Chain projects
- Partner withfacilitieson improvement strategies for quality and food safety compliance
- Development of capabilities and competencies in the short andlongterm to the plant quality teams and HACCP coordinators
- Supportfor CAPA plans in the full Supply Chainrelated to Food Safety.
- Promote the implementation of a Food Safety culture across the organization.
- Influence and partner with cross functional peers, effectively communicating how Food Safety supports our company values.
- Support for QCMS auditsand other compliance requirements FS policies
- Provide cross-functionaltechnical expertiseto QA, R&D; and Operations
- Develop and provide training on company food safety managementrequirements.
- Participate in GFSI, customer and supplier audits as required
Recipe for Success:
- Completion of Bachelor of Science degreeor equivalent work experience
- 2-4years in Food Safety and Quality inthefood industry
- Hazard Analysisand Critical Control Point (HACCP)certification(s)
- Proficient with office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams.
Ability to run analytics and use database systems to create reports
- Possess strongcustomer service,interpersonal skills, an approachable demeanor, and an active listener
- Demonstratedcross-functionalleadership skills with an effective ability to coachand influence others
- Robust knowledge of CFIA/Health Canada/FDA/USDA/GFSI/HACCP Benchmarks Auditing an asset
- Ability to manage and communicate sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Excellent ability to focus and prioritize in a fast-moving environment
- Attention to detail, strong technical knowledge and analytical capability
