Food Service Supervisor

Thakkar Hospitality BC-LM Inc. DBA Tim Hortons Restaurant located in Vancouver, BC is looking for ten permanent, full time Food Service Supervisors to join their team.

Wage: $20.45 per hour; 32 hours per week

Number of positions: 10

Terms of Employment: Full-time and Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties

- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare food order summaries for chef
- Perform same duties as workers supervised

Qualifications

- Completion of high school is required
- Knowledge of English language is required
- Minimum of one year of work experience required in a similar field
- Must be prepared to work under pressure
