- Develop and implement long-term forestry management strategies
- Supervise natural heritage staff and assign priorities
- Oversee the Woodland Conservation By-law program
- Lead engagement with Indigenous communities on forestry matters
- Manage complex public inquiries regarding natural heritage Requirements:
- University degree in forestry or related field
- Registered Professional Forester (RPF) in Ontario
- Extensive experience in forestry and natural heritage management
- Demonstrated leadership in a public sector environment
