Join GFL Environmental as a Forklift Operator in Hamilton and contribute to waste management operations. This role requires operating forklifts and maintaining processing records during daytime shifts. In this position, you will report to the Supervisor and be responsible for various operational tasks.
The role includes operating a forklift, maintaining accurate records, and performing general housekeeping duties. You'll also participate in safety meetings and be accountable for reporting any safety incidents. Key Responsibilities:
- Process containerized waste through bulking and cutting
- Maintain processing records as per assigned areas
- Operate forklifts to move materials efficiently
- Perform housekeeping tasks including snow removal
