Our client, a leading Food Bakery company, is seeking skilled and safety-conscious experienced Forklift Operators, Shippers/Receivers to join their team and start as soon as possible.

Temporary ongoing positions, with the potential to move them full time.

Working locations: Vaughan, Etobicoke, Brampton, ON

Wage: $20.20 per hour + 4% vacation pay; Night shift premium is $0.50/hr.

All 3 shifts are available for all 3 locations:

- Afternoon: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
- Night: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am

Must have a minimum of 5 years to 10 years of experience working in forklift focused roles consistently.

Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring that items are handled safely and efficiently.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.

Requirements

- Proven experience for 5 to 10 years as a Forklift Operator within manufacturing or warehouse distribution, food industry experience is nice to have.
- Must have a valid forklift certification on all the machines - Dock stocker, Counter Balance, Walkie Rider, and Reach Truck.
- Must be willing to work for the role for the long term and someone who is looking for a secure role and wants to grow within one company.
- Requires education in a similar field or high school degree only.
- No Students are accepted for this role.




- Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
- Basic math skills for accurate order picking and inventory management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
