Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and hardworking team member to join our bakery and pizza shop. This is a part-time position offering 3–4 shifts per week, with shifts starting at 2:00 PM. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn all aspects of bakery and pizza production, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Assist with pizza preparation, including organizing dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients.
- Help with afternoon wholesale bread and bun baking. Including:
- Loading and unloading ovens
- Scoring breads and buns
- Organizing bake buns in wholesale groupings
- Learn all aspects of the pizza line, including topping pizzas, operating the pizza oven, and, with training, preparing and rolling pizza dough.
- Work closely with the team to prepare for service and support daily production needs.
- Wash dishes and maintain an organized dish area throughout each shift.
- Learn where all bakery and kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies belong to ensure an efficient workspace.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times.
- Organize and stock refrigerators, ensuring ingredients are properly rotated and stored.
- Assist with closing duties, including:
- Cleaning and closing the dish area
- Scraping, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Wiping and sanitizing work surfaces




- Taking out garbage and recycling
- Leaving the bakery clean, organized, and ready for the next day

Qualifications

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn all aspects of bakery and pizza operations.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Previous food service or kitchen experience is an asset but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate.
