Enhance the quality of life for seniors at Extendicare as a Full time Recreation Aide. Assist in creating meaningful programs, facilitating activities, and engaging residents daily. Reporting to the Recreation Manager, this role involves planning and implementing recreational programs collaborates closely with staff and families.
You will maintain accurate department records, support outings, and help assess residents' activity levels. Your participation in team meetings and in-service education ensures you remain informed on current trends in elder care. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and implementing activities for residents

- Assist with meal services when required Requirements:
- College diploma in Recreation or equivalent
- Experience working with seniors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
