Duties
- Assist with planting, pruning, mowing, and general garden maintenance to ensure healthy and attractive landscapes
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as edging, trimming, and soil preparation
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to promote optimal watering practices
- Help with excavation work using equipment like excavators under supervision for landscaping projects
- Conduct routine landscape maintenance including weed control, mulching, and debris clearance
- Assist with construction-related tasks such as setting up garden features or installing new plant beds
- Perform regular equipment checks and basic mechanical maintenance to keep tools and machinery in top condition
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus
- Solid physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed
- Basic understanding of construction processes related to landscaping projects
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Willingness to follow safety procedures diligently and maintain a clean work setting
