Job Purpose The Generator Technician Apprentice is a hybrid position designed to develop the skills required to become both a highly qualified Generator Technician and a licensed Journeyman Electrician. This role combines hands-on generator installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair with residential electrical apprenticeship training under the supervision of licensed electricians and experienced generator technicians. This position provides a clear career pathway toward becoming a licensed Journeyman Electrician while building specialized expertise in generator systems and backup power solutions.

? Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license.
Mechanical aptitude, interest in electrical systems and generators, ability to use tools safely, communication skills, and desire to pursue Journeyman Electrician licensure.
? Working Conditions
Work indoors and outdoors, climb ladders, use tools, lift up to 80 pounds, travel to job sites, and wear required PPE.
Career Development Path
