The Pinestone Resort and Conference Centre Overlooks 160 acres of lush “Cottage Country” landscape in the scenic Haliburton Highlands of Ontario. The area’s only full-service hotel with a golf course and restaurant, just two and a half hours from Toronto. Staff and Guests can enjoy an abundance of outdoor activities ranging from hiking, biking, golfing, fishing and swimming.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to golfers and guests while assisting with the operations of the golf course pro shop.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide information about golf course facilities, services, and pricing
- Process transactions for tee times and golf-related merchandise using POS System
- Monitor pace of play and assist with golf course management tasks as assigned
- Assist with Men’s & Ladies Leagues and Course Events
- Provide support for golf tournaments and special events
- Assist with merchandising displays
- Ensure pro shop and surrounding areas are clean and organized




- Lead Support and encourage their team members
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills and experience with point of sale (POS) systems
- Enthusiastic and Energetic
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and ability to adapt to changing schedules and customer needs.
- Basic math and cash handling skills, and ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Must have or able to obtain Smart Serve
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Familiarity with golf terminology, etiquette, and customs preferred, but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay: From $18.00 per hour
