Our dynamic administrative team is welcoming and vital to the success of our academic and research programs.

About the Role

Provides secretarial and administrative support services for the Department of Mathematics graduate programs. Acts as the primary contact and resource person for graduate students. Responds to requests for general information relating to graduate program admission, registration, courses, exams, grading, and departmental and University policies and procedures.

Coordinates the process for graduate program admissions; processes scholarship and award applications; and assists the Graduate Program Committee members with graduate program preliminary progress reviews. Assists departmental staff with maintaining the departmental website.

The ideal candidate for this position takes a people-centered approach to service, has demonstrated excellence in communicating effectively with diverse populations, and has experience balancing multiple tasks with outstanding attention to detail.
