We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook grilled items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the grill station and surrounding areas throughout the shift
- Serve food promptly and courteously to guests or servers
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure guest safety
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Strong understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Passion for the food industry with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction
- Prior restaurant experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
