Main Branch Tree Service is hiring a Ground Worker to support our team of Arborists. This is a hands-on outdoor role assisting with tree pruning and removal while keeping job sites safe, organized, and running smoothly. If you enjoy physical work, being outside, and learning skilled trade work, this is a great chance to start a career in Arboriculture.
What You'll Do
● Set up and maintain protected job sites
● Operate the wood chipper and manage brush
● Load trucks and assist with cleanup
● Maintain tools and equipment
● Assist Arborists during tree work
● Work closely with the crew to keep jobs running efficiently
Schedule
Typical hours are Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM. During the busy summer season, most days run approximately 9–10 hours.
Expectations
● Reliable transportation to the shop each day. We are not located near public transit routes.
● Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License
● Must have CSA approved steel toe boots
● Punctual and dependable
● Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
● Professional and respectful with coworkers and customers
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
