Empower youth at Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland as a Group Mentoring Coordinator. Help enhance self-esteem and confidence in girls, gender diverse, and Two Spirit youth through impactful group programs. This full time role involves delivering key mentoring programs like Go Girls! and My Voice, My Power!
Your focus will be on recruiting and training volunteers, monitoring program effectiveness, and fostering relationships with schools and community partners. Your passion for youth mentorship and strong communication skills will be essential in this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and train volunteer mentors for programs
- Deliver pre-match training and provide ongoing support
- Build relationships with schools and youth participants
- Coordinate program logistics and volunteer matches
- Monitor program delivery and ensure standards are met Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year post-secondary diploma or relevant degree
- 2+ years in not-for-profit program coordination
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access
- Public speaking and group facilitation skills
