Responsibilities

Tasks

- Interact effectively with resort guests and co-workers to create a positive experience
- Monitor, respond, and process guests’ online feedback of hotel
- Handle guest registration and room assignments; accommodating special requests whenever possible in a timely manner
- Process group arrivals and departures
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations
- Answer all incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Ensure privacy of guests
- Provide information on resort facilities and services with hours of operation
- Share general information on points of interest in the area and services in the community
- Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payment
- Understand basic accounting principles, including debit and credit transactions
- Complete the daily Front Desk duty sheet




- Provide supervision of Guest Service Agents (in the absence of General Manager, Assistant GM, or Guest Services Supervisor)
- Assist with training of Guest Service Agents
- Oversee all reservations, groups, proposals, and revenue management tasks as directed by the General Manager
- Monitor procedures and processes to maximize revenues and control of expenses
- Assist the General Manager with Accounts Receivable, including company credit applications, invoicing, and collections
- Act as a concierge at front desk for VIP guests
- Complete other duties as assigned by the General Manager
