We are looking for a highly skilled Head Chef, who thrives in a high-volume environment, to lead our very busy breakfast/lunch kitchen.

This hands-on leadership role is for someone who is organized, calm under pressure, passionate about great food, and is committed to building a positive kitchen culture.

We are a wildly busy, slightly chaotic, very fun breakfast & brunch spot that runs on coffee, teamwork, and controlled kitchen madness!

This is not a slow-paced role, this is an 8-hour, feet-moving, teamwork-driven shift.

The Role:

● Lead and inspire the kitchen team while setting the standard for quality.

● Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient service during high-volume breakfast and brunch periods

● Create schedules, manage labour costs, and support the development of your team

● Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency across every dish.

● Manage inventory,



ordering, food costs, and waste

● Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations are consistently met

● Collaborate with management on seasonal features, menu development

● Train, coach, and mentor kitchen staff to help them grow and succeed

What We Are Looking For

● Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant

● Robust leadership and communication skills

● Excellent organizational and time management abilities

● A passion for breakfast, brunch, and quality ingredients

● Experience managing food and labour costs

● Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure

● Open/flexible schedule

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
