Job Profile: Healthcare Recruiter The Recruiter will be responsible for curating candidates for Hines Health Services' rapidly growing team. To thrive in this role, the Recruiter must have a detailed understanding of the hiring process, efficient problem-solving skills, and have experience with employee management. It will be considered an asset to have previous experience recruiting Nursing staff and Health Care Providers.
Duties include assisting in job postings, selecting, interviewing and reviewing candidates, onboarding current staff, providing general administrative support, and assisting with travel arrangements for employees.
Location & Schedule:
- Schedule: Full time, temporary position with an initial 3-month term.
- Location: Fort McMurray, AB - in office position based at our clinic headquarter
Compensation: CA$24.00 - CA$28.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Post job openings and manage advertisements.
- Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates.
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires.
- Provide administrative support related to recruitment and HR.
- Assist with travel arrangements for employees.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and credential requirements.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to meet staffing needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in recruitment or relevant administrative support.
- Knowledge of Nursing and healthcare professional licensing bodies and education requirements is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Teams.
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
- Professional level verbal and written communication skills (business emails and correspondence)
- Competence in core HR functional areas, including compensation; recruitment; training and development
- CPHR or training in human resources is considered an asset
- Must pass pre-employment tests, including criminal background check
- Post-secondary education is highly preferable
- Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to a wide variety of tasks and functions
- Ability to learn and adapt to new computer programs efficiently
- Ability to think globally and work with various cultures/backgrounds, encouraging, fair-minded, and honest.
