As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician at EVR, you will work on large‑scale mobile mining equipment in a site‑based role, performing preventive maintenance, major repairs, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and component disassembly/reassembly on a fleet that includes CAT 797s, D11s, 24Ms, Komatsu 980Es, and the only P&H; 4800 electric shovel in North America. 4x4 and 8x8 shift schedules available, consisting of days and nights.

Equipment Technician or equivalent.

Experience working with off‑road heavy equipment.

Background in mining, construction, agriculture, forestry, oil & gas, or other heavy‑industry environments. The position is site‑based at our operations in the Elk Valley, requiring reliable commute to or relocation near Sparwood, B.Temporary housing resources include: EVR rental units: Company‑owned units available for short‑term transition support (subject to availability).
