We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic with a strong background in mobile cranes in a taxi service (fast paced/quick turnaround nature) to join our growing team. This role involves diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment, with a primary focus on mobile and truck-mounted cranes. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in a mobile service environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile cranes, tractor & trailers (Elliott, National, LinkBelt, Demag) (hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems)

- Perform preventative maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks.

- Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documents

- Complete service reports and documentation accurately

- Communicate clearly with customers and supervisors

- Follow all safety procedures and company policies





Required Qualifications

- 3+ years experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic

- Direct experience working on mobile cranes (truck-mounted, all-terrain, rough terrain, etc.)

- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems

- Ability to work independently in the field

- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
