Overview

The Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and overseeing repairs on a variety of Caterpillar equipment.

Major Job Functions

Using the technical expertise in this role to inspect parts for re‑usability, dismantle equipment, repair or rebuild components, attachments, etc., based on anticipated potential market demand.

Specific Skills & Experience

- Journeyperson Red Seal Technician certification required.
- Dedication to safety.
- Robust interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset.
- An entrepreneurial business spirit to work with the mgmt. & sales team to identify and priorities work that will lead to greater sales and/or profit is an asset in this role.
- Please note that 3rd/4th year Apprentice Mechanics will also be considered for this posting.
