Responsibilities

- Supervise and care for children
- Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Discipline children according to parents’ requested methods
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize activities such as games and outings
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
- Tend to emotional well‑being of children

Requirements

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience




- Experience: Relevant experience an asset
- Language: English
- Criminal record check required
- Transport: Public transportation available
- Weight handling: up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- Personal qualities: client focus, flexibility, initiative, reliability, teamwork, time management, patience, honesty
