Role and Responsibilities:

Our Housekeepers play a vital role in establishing and maintaining a level of comfort and well-being for our clients living at home. The Housekeeper provides essential support services for the client with warmth and professionalism in the home environment, including, but not limited to:

- Top-to-bottom cleaning – vacuuming, dusting, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, baseboards, floors

- Detailed cleaning – windows, curtains and blinds, baseboards, ceiling fans and fixtures, cupboards, appliances

- Housekeeping – changing linens and bed sheets, laundry and ironing

All successful applicants will be required to provide a Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check

Requirements

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Listening to, understanding, and responding appropriately to client requests and needs





- Meeting schedules on time and in a diligent manner

- Accomplishing tasks within designated times with efficiency and quality

- Ensuring the client is in a safe and comfortable environment

- Working closely with team members to ensure high quality service is delivered

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

- Legal working status in Canada

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Required Skills & Credentials:

- Housekeeping and residential cleaning experience

- Valid driver’s license, Class 5

- Basic computer literacy

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with seniors, persons-with-disabilities

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time

- Able to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 20lbs

- Robust customer service skills and empathy towards others

- Self-starter with high attention to detail and thoroughness

- Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple priorities

- Ability to work within defined deadlines

- Ability to function within a collaborative team environment

- Ability to complete physically demanding work for extended periods of time
