Design and drafting of electrical drawings including, but not limited to: single line diagrams, low/medium voltage power schematics, electrical layouts, cable schedules, panel layouts, I/O schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.
Support of senior team members in the development of design calculations and studies including, but not limited to: equipment & cable sizing/selection, lighting, voltage drop, cable tray fill, etc.
Electrical heat trace calculations and design.
Development of associated electrical drawings.
Quality assurance and support of project schedule input and progress tracking.
Communication and coordination with department and project team members as required.
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Design from a recognized technical institute or comparable industry experience.
Robust working knowledge of AutoCAD.
3D CAD and NavisWorks experience an asset.
Working knowledge of electric heat trace design.
Working knowledge of electrical design, including: area classification, lighting design, power distribution and material selection.
Bluebeam Revu experience an asset.
Challenging large- and small-scale projects varying in scope, duration and application.
