- Designing, implementing, and overseeing network infrastructures
- Configuring, supervising, and enhancing firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security measures
- Investigating and mitigating network and security incidents
- Maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and protection of the network
- Offering expertise and assistance to internal teams on IT
- Recording and maintaining documentation of network infrastructure
- Partnering with external service providers
- Evaluating and deploying emerging technologies
Qualifications
- A degree in computer science, information security, or an equivalent
- Extensive experience in network and IT security
- Proficiency with firewalls, VPN technologies, and intrusion detection/prevent
- Solid understanding of network protocols
- Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, or similar credentials
