We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas are hygienic and well-maintained. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers following proper procedures
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair and report issues promptly
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks during scheduled intervals
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working workplace
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet cleaners is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
