Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman/Woman Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. We deal with heavy machinery and in this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication tasks across various projects, ensuring precision and safety at every step. Your expertise will contribute to building durable structures, ductwork, and custom assemblies, supporting our commitment to excellence in industrial and construction environments.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute welding and fabrication tasks.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding with precision on diverse materials including steel, aluminum, must know how to gouge
- Operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, power tools, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use calipers, schematics, and basic math skills to measure, cut, assemble, and inspect metal parts to exact specifications.
- Conduct rigging operations when positioning heavy components or assemblies for welding or installation projects.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with machinery or fabricated parts during assembly or installation phases.
- Support assembly processes by working with cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment to move materials safely in office or in the shop environment.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining high standards of quality control throughout all welding and fabrication activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journeyman/Woman Welder with demonstrated proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques. Gouging
- Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery such as plasma cutters, press brakes, cranes, forklifts, and power tools.
- Familiarity with rigging procedures for lifting heavy components safely using cranes or forklifts.
- Skilled in using calipers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment with precision.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for quality fabrication work.
- Knowledge of schematics related to manufacturing or construction projects is a plus.
- Strong safety awareness with adherence to all safety regulations on-site or in the shop environment.
