Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer,



and maintain Kafka clusters across all environments.

Manage brokers, topics, partitions, replication, and consumer groups.

Monitor cluster health, performance, capacity, and availability.

Perform performance tuning, scaling, upgrades, and patching.

Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis.

Configure Kafka security (SSL/TLS, SASL, ACLs).

Support Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, HA/DR, and monitoring.

Automate operational tasks using Bash/Python.

Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application teams.

Maintain documentation, runbooks, and support production/on-call activities.
