We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to utilize mechanical expertise and customer service skills to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension work
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and modifications
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic codes for accurate troubleshooting
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed for repairs or upgrades
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and addressing customer concerns
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair procedures
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics required
