We’re looking for energetic, customer-focused team member to join our Dairy Bar.

As part of the Hewitt’s Dairy Bar team, you’ll help deliver a positive and memorable experience for every guest. Your responsibilities will include:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Receive orders from counter staff and plate food for presentation with care and consistency
- Perform general kitchen duties including food planning, preparation, cooking, service, and clean-up
- Maintain high standards of sanitation, hygiene, GMPs, and food safety at all times
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and proactively help prevent workplace accidents
- Assist with inventory management, proper food storage, labeling, and rotation
- Safely operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, fryers, and other electrical or mechanical tools
- Support the Dairy Bar team during busy service periods with a positive, team-focused attitude

Qualifications

- Previous cooking or food service experience required
- Retail or customer service experience is an asset




- Food Handler Certificate required
- Professional Cooking Certificate considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavier items consistently throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in kitchen environments, including exposure to refrigerated areas
