Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is looking for a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We’re seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has a passion for food, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
This role plays an important part in maintaining our high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation while contributing to a positive and effective kitchen culture.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Stacked recipes and brand standards
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and effective workstation
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate service
- Monitor food levels and communicate any shortages or concerns to management
- Assist with training and supporting new kitchen team members when needed
- Follow all health, safety, and workplace policies
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
- Strong understanding of cooking methods and food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform well under pressure during busy periods
- Passion for cooking and commitment to delivering quality food
