They are seeking a customer-focused Live-in Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of a newly constructed residence in the Forest Hill area. Your Role

Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a newly built residential community, ensuring the property remains safe, clean, and operating efficiently. You'll respond to resident requests, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, complete regular building inspections, coordinate contractors, oversee work orders, and support move-ins, move-outs, and suite turnovers.

The position includes a live-in one-bedroom apartment within the building and participation in a rotational after-hours emergency schedule.

What Sets You Apart

You are an experienced Superintendent, Building Operator,



or Maintenance professional who enjoys taking ownership of a property and being visible within the community you support. You have strong knowledge of general building systems, including plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and preventative maintenance, along with the ability to troubleshoot issues and coordinate repairs effectively.

Just as importantly, you are approachable, dependable, organized, and take pride in providing outstanding customer service. You enjoy working independently while recognizing when collaboration is needed and understand that maintaining a great community is about more than maintaining a building.

Compensation

Expected annual compensation of $22.48/hr + 1-bedroom apartment. This is a unionized, live-in position that includes parking, tool allowance, footwear and uniform allowance, a cell phone, and a comprehensive benefits package governed by the applicable Collective Agreement.
