Responsibilities

- Coordinate long distance dispatch operations and shipment scheduling for all Jays Moving Branch offices.
- Communicate with drivers, branch offices, customers, and van line partners.
- Resolve operational and logistical issues in a timely manner.
- Review estimates and assist with operational planning.
- Collaborate with the Sales teams to ensure service requirements are met.
- Monitor driver availability, equipment utilization, and line-haul capacity.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, reports, and documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.




- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, preparing paperwork, and assisting customers.

Qualifications

- Experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or moving services is an asset but not required
- Must have high quality interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team workplace.
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and acceptable drivers abstract
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
